Discovery And Universal Application Of Goat's Traits

I'm sure you must have heard before severally that goat is a domestic animal, and it is not far from the truth that this same animal has a good ranking when mentioning various set of stubborn animals that have ever lived on the planet earth, to some extent. This really makes him to stand-out from amidst other animals to be an object to learn from. Although, there are wild goats which I'm not going to talk about but I will rather we learned some characteristics found in the domestic. Whilegold is a free gift of nature, natural resource from God for our use. It is born precious and durable.

You may be wondering what good things that can be learned from this stigmatized animal. Yes, there are some lessons, tools and traits, so to say, in the goat that when if employed in any engagement, it opens the way to achieving the desired end.

The following are some of the characters which could be of help when if applied in our day-to-day life and activities, though not limited to these:

PERSISTENCE:
(Act of doing something repeatedly)
It is lucid, in goat's attempt to get his fodder, exercising persistence and consistence has been his common experience with logic, perhaps the most useful tool. He knew in the quest to gratify his needs or get the desired results, failure will set in but to overcome this is to be persistent, consistent, steady and imploring different methods, skills, and techniques into the task.

To receive miracle from God, be a leader of and/or in a particular establishment, fill in some political offices, get to heaven at last etc, all these demand being persistent.

Application:
If you failed once, try it another time with the previous skills (if you are sure of it) or with new techniques and/or methods. If we can be persistent, we are on the way heading to success and victory.

STRENGTH:
Even when the goat is physical challenged, he is not discouraged and dejected but discovers he has inner strength that can make him accomplish his goals. No matter how sickly he finds himself, having set the target, he doesn't allow his poor health conditions to excruciate him from getting the work done, but rather uses the strength within to water-low the invasion, win the game, live upright and righteous, pass the test, no matter how rough the way, hard the time, complicated the task, he is optimistic and penetrate through some narrow paths, climb over the omitted rungs and walk the rough road to achieve the planned end.

Yes, we have some extra, inner strength within us which we can only exercise at the expense of exhaution of our physical and human strength.

Application:
Every human being is endowed with a particular inner strength or strength within to carry us through any awkward moment. We can only use this at the exhaustion of the physical and natural strength in us. You may want to ask, who/what is the strength? The strength is Christ. Yes, discover Him.

DISCIPLINE:
The goat disciplines himself against wastage. He has foresight to plan against the next session, term, time, semester, stage, and for some moment in life.
Having gotten some food, he stores some in his chick, perhaps 20% of the food(income), in case of some miscellaneous expenses, speculation, uncertainty etc. He also disciplines himself against playing away his precious time, doing nothing. He has good timetable for his activities: time to rest, read the bible and meditate on the Word, pray, read through business tips, etc.

Application:
If we are faithful, verbally implementing 10% - 20% - 70% ratio in our life. Paying 10% as our tithe and offering as at when due, saving 20% percent from the returns after the 10%, and, logically and economically exhausting the 70% on ourselves and other things, this, in no doubt, will show how well we manage ourselves, our business and our managerial role in the organization or establishment where we work.

MANAGEMENT:
He has the capacity and capability to manage himself efficiently and effectively, and this, in other organizations with his team. Even though the goat tries to waste another careless and indolent owners' resources, however, all this is for his innocent gain. He manages himself to the extent that not even his personal interest can make him retrogress, derail and misuse theresources he has long sought for, found and gathered. He manages everything, fast, accurate and he is equally industrious in the task. Obviously, he is tenacious and managing. He is responsible for accountability.

Application:
To be hard working is not when we are performing within our remit, doing what is being committed into our hands with lackadaisical and nonchalant attitude but, it is when we improve ourselves to equal the task a bit higher or bigger than us and give our best to make sure success is achieved. There's a common sayin, that hard-work does not kill but idleness does.

INDUSTRY:
To get the work done, get to the summit of his career or course, preach the gospel productively, search every nooks and crannies for food, set logical plans, manage everything effectively and efficiently, loyal and transparent, promote corporate values and culture, adjust to environmental forces, motivate his team members and lot more, the goat understood all these can only be done with hard-work. African goats, to be precise, can walk miles in search for feeds. They are not idle and easily discouraged.

Application:
Industry doesn't kill but idleness does. No matter how little or easy the task, it still requires imbibing the culture of hard work.
